Utah Treatment Programs

Our team of professionals includes those with years of experience with mental health and substance abuse training. We also have a full medical staff. Part of our treatment process is using dual diagnosis to help pinpoint the exact characteristics that need to be addressed in therapy and treatment. Our residential treatment path includes group therapy, individual therapy, and other structured activities. The goal of residential treatment is to give everyone a safe, comfortable environment to grow and learn.

While each treatment plan is individualized, there are a few different programs that we utilize to assist in treatment. The three main treatment programs are Worth, Path, and North. Here is a brief explanation of each treatment program offered by New Roads:

WORTH – Focus on Women with Borderline Personality Disorder

This program focuses on treatment for young adult women that may have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. Often, the diagnoses for Borderline Personality Disorder or BPD can be mistaken for Bipolar Disorder. In either case, our talented team can help correctly identify mental health concerns to aid in a residential treatment setting. Other behaviors that characterize clients in this treatment program include those with drug addictions, substance abuse, alcoholism, self-harm behaviors, suicidal thoughts, difficulties with relationships and problems establishing trust. Worth offers Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or DBT. DBT is extremely effective and provides the education and skill to make life after treatment a success.

PATH – Focusing on Men with Substance Abuse Disorders

This residential program offers treatment for young adult males that have a history of substance abuse or addiction. With a holistic approach to healing, dual diagnosis and a full team of medical staff; these programs provide ample support for long-term recovery. Many of those who abuse substances or develop addictions have other underlying mental health concerns. With our team of experts, effectively treating all of the mental health and medical needs of each client can help produce the best chance for success.
