Dr. Michael Measom attended the University of Utah where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Doctorate in Medicine. He also took a year off from medical school to do research at the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”) as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholar. He did his Residency in Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then did a Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at The Medical University of South Carolina. After the fellowship, he spent the next 8 years as an academic faculty member in the department of psychiatry before moving to Salt Lake City. Dr. Michael Measom left academics having been an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Utah. He currently works in Salt Lake City on an Assertive Community Outreach Team. He also does private practice He is board certified in general psychiatry, addiction with a focus on Addiction Psychiatry. psychiatry and addiction medicine.
