Nicole Shaw

Nicole Shaw received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2013. She has been working for New Roads Behavioral Health since 2012, starting off as line staff and moving up to Case Manager where she held an active role in helping to establish the New Roads to Healing (NRTH) program. After receiving her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2017, Nicole became a clinical therapist for New Roads and director of the IOP program.
Originally from Leesburg, Virginia, Nicole pursues an active lifestyle which includes backpacking, long-distance running, CrossFit, rock-climbing, and solo traveling overseas. In her spare time she also enjoys painting, reading, and volunteering. Nicole feels fortunate to have worked in the field of mental health for a decade, and looks forward to advocating for the wellness needs of individuals and communities.
