Gay JacksonAdmissions and Outreach Coordinator
Gay received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and has been a RN for over 40 years. While starting her career in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit, she found she gravitated to working with patients and families who were struggling emotionally. She began working in an acute psychiatric unit and then became Nurse Manager over all the psychiatric programs at a major hospital in Utah. She transitioned from acute psychiatric care to working at an adolescent residential care program where she was the Director of Nursing, Director of Admissions and was the Associate Executive Director before coming to New Roads. Gay has been with New Roads almost from the beginning. She loves working with the clients and their families and has a passion for helping those who are struggling. When not working Gay loves spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. She does a lot of volunteering in her community and is a member of the Community Emergency Response Team. She also enjoys almost any outdoor activity. Her newest hobby is playing Pickleball.
